Reiki is an ancient form of energy healing.

 

The practitioner lays hands on or just above the client in order to transmit Light energy.  Its effects can range from an increase in a feeling of calm to a reduction of anxiety and pain. 

 

Reiki is a wonderful "tool" to add to your tool box when it comes to a holistic approach to overcoming anxiety and depression.  Like meditation, Reiki's effects can increase the more you practice.
