Creating a Calm Foundation

Most of our lives are about "doing something."

 

If we suffer from anxiety or depression we are inclined to get help, use tools, take medicine and even exercise.  All of those things can help to bring lasting change.

 

It seems almost counter-intuitive to think that “doing nothing” could have a positive effect, but meditation can do just that. 

 

Meditation is a tool that can be added to your healing “toolbox” to help you feel better and think more clearly. Meditation works like exercise.  The more you use it, the better you get at it and the more benefits that you reap from it.

How it Works

At Light Docent, meditation is used in all our classes and the women’s group. We teach individual meditation as well as offer guided meditation. 

 

We'll work with you one-on-one or in a class dedicated to mediation techniques and practices.  In a few short sessions you'll learn how this powerful relaxation technique can change your life.
